The Transition to a Commission
The Jersey Police Complaints Authority will transition to become the Jersey Police Complaints Commission.
The transition to a Commission will be accompanied by new legislation consisting of amendments to both Regulations and Primary Law to support the modernisation of the management of Police Complaints. The new law was passed during March 2023 and will be enacted once the Regulations are approved by the States Assembly (expected early/mid 2025)
